The property was good, but the key reason we booked it was because it was advertised as having a swimming pool, soft play and a restaurant on site. On day one we went over to reception and were told that all of these facilities were closed until March, and we were told we should have been informed. Had we known this, we would not have booked. Our two grandchildren, aged 8 and 4, were very upset, and it then became very difficult to find things to do.

Information on where to collect wristbands was very misleading, Lodge very clean and comfortable,but really needs new cooking pans. Id advise taking youre own towels because our bath towels were like scourers, we went out and bought new ones to use, dirty freezer drawer with someones remains left, I did ask before arrival if there was outside drying facilities.and was told no but owner would sort it for arrival but that didnt happen,apart from the negatives I would stay again as we enjoyed our stay very much,

The lodge was comfortable and spacious and in an excellent location. The directions and checkin information was incorrect taking us to the property and Country Club, but reception there does not do checkin. That had to be done at Unity Resorts reception, where you receive the passes, not wristbands. This is accessed direct from the coast road. The welcome hamper was very nice thank you. Some cooking pans were not clean, as complained of by a previous customer.

This is an absolutely incredible place to stay with beautiful views and just about the right level of perfect comfort The location when we stayed in June was quite with very little in the way of any people around Its easy to walk to the beach and several pubs nearby Plenty of room for the 4 of us who stayed the 4 nights Monday to Friday The water pressure for the showers has to be the best I've seen in a long time with enough pressure to feel clean in a very short amount of time The beds were ok with some being more comfortable than others but not to any major extent The site could have used some better blackout curtains due to the rooms being fully illuminated at around 4am onwards by the summer sun There were a few minor issues in that the pots and pans hadn't been cleaned when we arrived and one of the bathroom door handes was nearly falling off

Could do with a new frying pan and a couple of smaller ovenproof dishes. Very well stocked otherwise especially cleaning materials and a wonderful welcome hamper. Excellent place to relax.

The lodge was a great size, very clean and light & airy. Having tvs in the bedrooms was great to let the kids have a chill out after days out. The surrounding area was peaceful with the pond and friendly ducks, the outdoors furniture was great for evening and night time relaxing and a bit of stargazing. The only minor downside was the distance to the onsite facilities but this was not the end of the world, and with booking through Sykes the swimming was at full price 15 per person instead of 6, for 90 minutes.

The property was absolutely perfect! Surprisingly spacious with just about everything we could need. Basket of food was a lovely touch ! The only little thing is that when I spoke to Sykes snd asked how close the beach was, they said just 2 or3 minutes walk,when in fact it was about 15 or 20 minutes which was too long for some members of our group to get to without a car, and we didn't want to pay for parking as weather not great, so my mother never did get to see the beach where Sanditon was filmed which was one of the draws. Kept waiting for better weather which never happened,which of course wasn't your fault, but wish we had had accurate information about that and how close the shops and other amenities were.

Went here for a week with my family. The property was amazing everything you need for your stay. Hope to return again .

What an amazing place to stay. We had the best time. The lodge was immaculate, extremely well equipped and very very pleasant to be in. The country club setting is close enough to everything so its not boring for the kids but far enough away to be peaceful amd relaxing. Literally cannot recommend the place enough. Thank you so much. The lodge was immaculately clean and well looked after, was very impressed. Good location very peaceful visited lots of places. After reading reviews we ever bothered to visit the theme park or leisure park so can't comment. Near enough if you want to but far enough away to not let it bother you. Can't say enough about the lodge and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The country club is on your doorstep and can't say enough about that. Lovely and clean and had a lovely breakfast one morning and a tasty Sunday lunch. Will definitely go back

Very nice accommodation, very roomy for our group of eight including two children and a baby. Nice quiet location with a lovely relaxing outlook over a lake and the 18th hole. Close to all holiday amenities and the beach all within walking distance. Just what we needed to relax as a family.
