Pentreath Reviews

Pentreath is a beautiful cottage in a great location. Minutes to local beaches, pubs and coastal walks. The cottage is well equipped with everything making it a home from home. Beds are comfortable, cottage is spacious and beautifully presented. The fire in the living room made for a cosy setting due to fairly cold weather. We will definitely look to book again sometime in the future. Thank you Peter and Katie for the opportunity to stay in your lovely cottage.

We stayed at Pentreath with our extended family for two weeks and were so pleased with everything about the house The moment we stepped inside it felt like a home, so inviting and tastefully decorated throughout. The children were so excited when we showed them their bunk beds themed on the inside of a pirate ship, that's what we told them . The toys and games provided for them were really appreciated by the kids. The facilities were excellent and provided everything we needed for our family of 8. I would highly recommend staying at the house particularly with its location being literally minutes from the beach and the local pubs. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home. The Bushell family

A beautifully presented, well equipped and very comfortable home in a perfect location in which to enjoy the Rame Penninsula. Our hosts were very responsive to a plumbing issue we encountered on our stay and everything was resolved with speed. Thank you!
We were delighted with Pentreath, it is a picture perfect cottage in a great position with everything you need. Thank you Peter for letting us stay at your lovely cottage which you obviously take great pride in, you were very hospitable and easy to get hold of. We are sure to return in the future. Just back from a fabulous stay at 'Pentreath'. The cottage is beautiful, warm, and cosy. We felt completely at home from the minute we opened the front door! Perfectly situated, on a quaint little lane just one minute from the sea. You can tell the owners love it as much as we did, as so much thought has gone into it. We would definitely love to return.

What a beautiful little cottage Pentreath is. We visited Kingsand for a week to celebrate our sons wedding. The cottage was perfect for all of us and the beds incredibly comfortable. The owner was very responsive also and helpful. Everything we could have wanted or needed was provided in the cottage. A wonderful stay
Pentreath is lovely beautifully decorated and equipped. My son and his family and my husband and I had a wonderful time in Kingsand and exploring the area. We loved your recommendations on the blackboard in the kitchen.
The cottage was beautiful. Each room was finshed to a very high standard, with different themes in each bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, the sheets were excellent quality. The shower was fabulous, the facilities from pots and pans to kitchen utensils were all of a high standard. Kingsand is a lovely location with plenty of pubs and coffee shops. The large car park was very useful for us. Would highly recommend. Thank you to the hosts!

We stayed at Pentreath for several years before its renovation but its redesign is fantastic! So comfortable, beautifully decorated throughout and we love the little nods to Kingsands history! Our favourite place to escape we love Kingsand. And we cant rate Pentreath highly enough a lovely retreat! We would love to be back!
Michael
A lovely property, in which the owners have clearly taken a great deal of pride when restoring and equippingfurnishing. Very comfortable and close to everything this beautiful area has to offer. Thank you!

Just had a lovely week in the RAME penisula staying at Pentreath. The house is cosy and welcoming, and very well fitted out. The upper two floors have 4 lovely decorated bedrooms, comfortable beds and good storage that will sleep 9 although I think the 3 bed bunk room is more suitable for children. There are 2 showers and 3 loos on these floors so very generous, as there is another showerloo on ground floor. The ground floor is a lounge, kitchendiner, and small 'snug' all well presented and fitted out, although at full occupancy it could feel 'busy'. We were two couples so absolutely ideal. The surrounding area is lovely with walks in both directions along the coast, Plymouth is easily reached, the village has 5 pubs, coffee shop, deli, and a Spar, and is delightful and welcoming. If you want to visit this area then definitely recommend KingsandCawsand and Pentreath along with the Halfway pub.

If I could give more I would, fabulous home, every comfort thought of, ALL of the beds are exceptionally comfortable and added bonus is that double beds all have KING size quilts which helps when sleeping with quilt hugger. Home, which is how it felt, is very central yet so quiet, really warm and cosy, views from front bedroom are amazing and seating area in back is a treat. Absolutely loved our stay there and will be back. Thank you

We had a lovely stay at this beautifully renovated cottage. 4 generations of our family stayed and we all had a great time. The baby equipment was perfect and the toys there were a great help! The location was perfect and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone choosing Kingsand for their Cornish holiday spot.
Beautiful house and had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend away. The house was so comfortable, clean and exactly what we wanted for a family weekend with our grandchild. Thank you for being so responsive to all our questions and providing cot and highchair for the baby. Will hopefully definitely come again. Thank you.
Caroline
We loved our stay at Pentreath. Weve been visiting KingsandCawsand for over 30 years and Id say this is the best property weve stayed in. The design, decor and attention to detail is fabulous but still feels very homely. Location is great within the village. Just a step away from beautiful coastal walks, great places to eat and drink and much more. Well definitely be returning to our favourite Cornish place and hopefully to Pentreath.
Pentreath is a perfect little home . Cosy and comfortable and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We spent ages going from room to room admiring all the different furniture, furnishings and artwork. You can feel the love and fun that went into creating this little haven. It is also perfectly situated to enjoy the stunning coastline and the pubs and restaurants of Kingsand Cawsand . We cant wait to come back.
Wonderful cottage with everything you would ever need! Extremely comfortable and so much thought and detail put in to the renovation. We love it!! Our second stay and will definitely be going back!
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. The rooms downstairs are cozy and have everything you need. The bedrooms are all good sizes and two families with 7 people stayed very happily with this set up. Kingsand is a very special place and we would certainly come back to this village and this fantastic cottage.
Olivia
