Barney

Sundial is a beautiful and characterful property, which weve wanted to stay in for years. And it didnt disappoint. Incredible see front location, amazing views and what could be better than sitting in one of the bay windows curled with a book with the sound of the sea in the background. A wonderful week in a fabulous property!

The wrong key code was annoying. There were no details provided about the parking permit by the time we found it, we had spent 160 on parking two cars, which was poor. We also spent money on bed guards for the kids, only to find they were provided but not listed on the inventory. The leaded front windows are in a terrible state. The firstfloor living room was unusable during a blow from the sea, as the room was cold. I know they are listed and cant be easily replaced, but something needs to be done, more than sellotape over the cracks. The state of the house is less than pristine, which is fine for a family seaside let, but not in line with the premium rental price. The welcome pack felt token, and there were no beach toys for the children. Overall, we had a nice break, and with a little careful investment and better listing details this could be a good let. Overall disappointing.

Loved our stay at Sundial House, it was a beautiful home and an incredible location. The only thing I would say is the top floor bedroom could do with some curtains or blinds and it would have been nice during this time of year to have had some decorations inside.
